Business Profile and Approach

With an extensive background in commercial property, Jeremy is a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years experience working in the public and private sectors both in house and latterly as a consultant.

He has worked for the Arcadia Group as a property manager covering a portfolio of retail properties and latterly was responsible for managing Debenham's department stores. Latterly, in this role, he assisted in the disposal of Hamley's and Lotus Shoe companies.

Following this he worked for Royal Mail Property Holdings in a fully accountable business unit responsible for providing a fit for purpose property portfolio at a minimum cost.

During this time he held positions of Head of Property for Post Office Counters, General Manager of Royal Mail Property Services and was Head of Property and Facilities for the Royal Mail Group property portfolio covering over 3000 properties.

Since leaving Royal Mail in 2003, he has set up Corporate Property Consultants (which is based in Leeds) to provide strategic and asset management advice to a number of public and private sector clients across the United Kingdom.

Fly fishing, cricket, skiing, theatre and travel

He was until recently a Board Member of Yorkshire Dance and IOU Theatre and is a member of Arts and Business Yorkshire.
